Animals at Mudumalai National Park - Ooty

The Mudumalai national park lies on the northwestern side of the Nilgiri Hills (Nilgiri - Blue Mountains). The sanctuary is contiguous with Bandipur National Park in Karnataka , Wynad Wildlife Sanctuary in Kerela , Sigur and Singara reserve forests. It is on the way from Bangalore - Myosre - Ooty route. Just after crossing the Bandipur forest you will enter the Mudumalai National Park. The road through the forest is not wide and not smooth. Below are few of the animals that can easily be seen in the forest. I didn't have time to camp or to go for safari :(

Bonnet Macaque (Macaca radiata)

buffalo

Sambar Deer - (Cervus unicolor)

Bonnet Macaque (Macaca radiata)

Gray langurs - (Semnopithecus hypoleucos)
wild boar (Sus scrofa)
